John Teinert began his Real Estate career while going to the University of Texas Business School, where he earned his degree in Finance. During his time at UT, John became a licensed Real Estate agent, working for various commercial real estate brokers in Austin. After graduation, he relocated to Washington, D.C., where he worked as a financial market analyst at Shannon and Luchs Real Estate. From there, John went to the Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA/Fannie Mae), where he worked as a residential loan packaging/servicing analyst. Eventually, John took a position at Pardoe Real Estate Sothebys in the D.C./Georgetown area, selling luxury homes and estates. In 1995, John left D.C., returning to Austin, where he began investing in real estate and brokering commercial and residential properties. Four years later, John teamed up with Chris Pellegrino, who together founded Austin Fine Properties.

Chris Pellegrino is a graduate of George Mason University with a B.A. in Speech Communications. Chris moved to Austin in 1995 from Washington D.C. and began his career working in the Austin Real Estate market in 1998. In 2000, Chris joined John Teinert in creating Austin Fine Properties, now a Private Label Realty Company. In addition to managing the Austin Fine Properties Baylor Street office, Chris enjoys working with both buyers and sellers and prides himself in paying the utmost attention to detail and going above and beyond to ensure his clients have a smooth transaction. Chris is also now a Certified EcoBroker® and looks forward to educating his clients on a more Eco/Sustainable lifestyle!

Rob Albertson is proud to join Austin Fine Properties in support of their green mission. Rob has been investing and building in Austin for over 8 years and recently earned the distinction as an Austin Energy Green Builder after completing a number of highly rated green houses.

Rob understands the complexities of buying and selling a home, but knows it is ultimately about finding the right home or the right buyer for his clients. He prides himself in knowing the Austin market better than his competitors and how to effectively market and stage a home for a timely sale.

Rob is an active member of Austin’s live music scene and also enjoys playing golf, running at Town Lake, and drinking wine with his wife Catherine and dog Belle at their green home in South Austin.

Clay assists home owners and investors with realizing their fullest potential and ensuring excellent solutions and services in various areas of real estate. Clay’s goal is to provide a level of service that exceeds his clients' expectations, while taking pride in building life-long relationships with clients based on trust, honesty, and integrity.

While growing up, Clay became interested in real estate while watching his uncle and mentor become highly successful in the field as an investor. After graduating with his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1997, Clay worked in the semiconductor industry as well as the biomedical field for more than ten years. Ultimately, his continued interest in real estate led him to where he is today.

Outside of real estate, Clay enjoys relaxing on the beach, surfing, mountain biking, snow skiing, snorkeling, cooking and travelling to exotic places around the world.

Nanette began as an executive assistant and contract-to-close coordinator at Austin Fine Properties, and is now a licensed Realtor. Having lived in central/west Austin for over 20 years, she knows the city intimately and loves all of the different moods and cultures that make Austin unique.

Passionate about the local art and live music, Nanette is deeply involved in Austin's creative scene. She enjoys yoga, shopping on South Congress, running in her Tarrytown neighborhood and attending funky family-friendly events with her two young children. Bringing yet another unique facet of Austin life to Austin Fine Properties, Nanette is a valuable asset to the AFP team.

Bill Mills has been with Austin Fine Properties since 2003 and brings more than 10 years of sales, marketing and management experience to our team. He specializes in residential single family, multi-family, and investment properties throughout the Austin area.

Bill's client following is as diverse as Austin itself. Currently, his focus is working with buyers and sellers in Central Austin, marketing Travis Oaks, a 67 unit condominium listing in the heart of South Congress and helping investors in the multi-family property arena.

Bill was born and raised in Hutchinson, Kansas and graduated from the University of Kansas in 1995 with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. He began his career in Kansas City, MO as a Sales Representative for Dallas-based New Home Search Systems and later rode the dot-com wave in Southern California with Improvenet.com before moving to Austin. "The moment I arrived, I knew I would be calling Austin home for a long time. Austin combines the friendly nature of the Midwest, with the relaxed, hip feel of Southern California."

Bill resides in Tarrytown and, in his spare time enjoys the lake, cooking, traveling and spending time with friends.

Dee has been involved in the Austin real estate market for eight years representing both Buyers and Sellers. Upon graduation from Texas A & M University with a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science and Masters in Real Estate Finance, he was involved in the oil business before moving to Austin where he began working in Commercial and Ranch Real Estate.

In 1991, he moved to Dallas to work for Chase Bank and became involved in sales and management of Real Estate in that market. Ten years later, he moved back to Austin and joined the Austin Fine Properties Group.

Dee's expertise includes renovations of existing homes/condos as well as new home construction, especially in the Central and South Austin areas. With a strong understanding of the complexities involved in diverse Real Estate transactions, he brings a varied background to the table to accomplish the closing of those transactions.

When not working, Dee enjoys Austin's music scene, boating, day trips through the Hill Country and cooking with friends. He brings just one more facet to the diversity of the AFP team.

Tinisha has lived in Austin for the last 10 years and began her Real Estate career in 2000 after graduating from the University of Texas with a degree in Journalism. She has a passion for renovating, interior design and investment properties. She spent several years buying, remodeling, and flipping homes in Central Austin and enjoys the pursuit of a smoking hot deal.

A vibrant, outgoing social butterfly, Tinisha thrives on having fun. She is currently building her Real Estate empire so her husband can retire from being a doctor and they can move to Mexico to live on a yacht. She and her husband are raising three boys and a labradoodle in a blended family and stay busy with sports, music, yoga, mountain biking and travel. She loves to look at architecture, homes and hotels in every city she travels. She considers herself to be a woman with many faces - travel agent, social director, Real Estate mogul, private investigator, interior designer, matchmaker, foodie, wine enthusiast, and a mom.

Jay has called Austin home for the last 26 years and has held a Texas Real Estate License for 14 years. The founder of several local businesses, including City Express and Spider House, he holds Austin in high regard as being one of Texas' most educated, liberal and livable cities in the country. Joining the Austin Fine Properties team in 2002, Jay prides himself on his honesty and integrity, and takes the time to provide clients with quality assistance and professional counsel.

Stephanie Angulo is a graduate of Texas State University - San Marcos with a B.A. in Accounting. After pursuing an accounting career in Atlanta, Stephanie began to provide consulting services for small businesses throughout the United States. Ultimately she returned to Austin, the city she fell in love with during her education.

Stephanie has always had a passion for Real Estate since being involved with her father's real estate investments while growing up. Throughout the years she has assisted various agents with their careers. Now a Realtor® herself and married to a Real Estate Investor of 16 years, she has acquired specialized knowledge in the industry, including renovating and building custom homes .

Specializing in serving buyers and sellers in the central Austin market, Stephanie thrives on building a strong relationship with her clients to find the perfect match for them.

Since returning to Austin, Stephanie enjoys going to Town Lake with her husband, David, and dog, Tuaca; dining at locally owned and uniquely Austin restaurants; and searching for investment deals.
