Bryker Woods

This nostalgic single-family neighborhood was developed in the 1930s when swing was king and Hollywood was producing classics like Gone With the Wind. Today, its mature, well-built homes are popular with both young and older families who appreciate the cozy tree-lined streets, warm community spirit, and convenient location. Historic bridges span Shoal Creek, connecting Bryker Woods to the University of Texas and the central business district. Bailey Park (not to be confused with Bedford Falls of It’s a Wonderful Life) is also within walking distance near Seton Hospital.
